If you want a private email account with aliases and basic functionality, contact me. It works well and has basic spam protection. It is nothing fancy. I will not spend much effort improving the service. If you want more services, go to a professional email hosting service such as fastmail.com, tuta.com, or proton.me.
Your email is private in these respects:
- Only you and I can scan your mailbox. I will not look at your email, and you just need to trust me on that.
- I also will not reveal your real identity to anyone unless a gun is put to my head. Don't abuse it.
- Other providers such as Google do scan your email and feed it to AI to learn about you.
- Email you send over the internet is scanned by the NSA and other agencies
- When you send to other people's gmail or other adtech company email server, those companies can use and abuse the information.
Because the mail server is on a VPS that I rent based on the amount of space and other resources I need, I will only give you a small amount of space. As long as you download your mail to your client such as Thunderbird, you do not need much space. If you want more space on the server, I might ask you to pay for the rent I will need to pay to expand the storage space.
